Unlike many other tourist destinations, Hoi An does not have many websites dedicated to providing information to potential visitors.  With this being said, there are a few sites, which although not great, do provide useful facts, links and information. One of the best: www.hoiantravelguide.com

A good place to begin doing some research is on the Official Website of Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism.  This site contains many links, facts, statistics and opportunities to book travel to Vietnam.  Although the city of Hoi An is featured only briefly on this site, travelers to this city may find much of the information useful.  The General Information link talks briefly about the climate, history, people, and religion of the country.  Being a World Heritage site , this website has a page with general descriptions of Hoi An and its history.
